Chillin' The Most Cruise 2010

Kid Rock was not kidding around when he decided to host the First Annual Kid Rock Cruise!!  This Detroit Boy really knows how to throw a party!

First, he charters a boat (a Carnival Cruise Ship) and invites 2,000 of his biggest fans to join him for 4 days from Tampa to Grand Cayman to "Rock that bitch up and down the coast".  Then he invites the most amazing bands to help to keep the party going.  Each and every one of these bands rocked the house!

UNCLE KRACKER  REHAB  MICKEY AVALON
POP EVIL    **Love these guys!!! You've gotta check 'em out!!
JONATHAN TYLER & THE NORTHERN LIGHTS LEROY POWELL PARADIME DJ MARK EP

TY STONE    **Check out some of his music on the Boondock Saints II (All Saints Day) Soundtrack!!!!
JOHN STONE BAND APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION YACHT ROCK REVUE  SCOTT MUNNS
HEATHER LUTTRELL  THE MIGHTY DAN HALEN

Here are just a few highlights from what we experienced this past weekend:

▪ Kid Rock personally greeted each and every passenger upon boarding the ship AND took a    photograph with each one!
▪ The photographs are being offered as FREE downloads to each passenger - this was not a gimmick to sell pictures
▪ As the ship left the dock, Kid Rock bought shots of Jim Beam for 2,000 people and everyone raised their glasses to being "ON A BOAT M**** F*****!"  Which quickly caught on as the slogan for the weekend!!
▪ Oh, and since the conditions were going to be better in the Bahamas for our weekend we changed course.  No biggie!  How cool is that?  (I'll take a rain check on Grand Cayman though)...
▪ Kid Rock and the TBT then performed an unexpected poolside concert - and that is just how he got the party started!!!
▪ Saturday night around 1:30 am, KR got on the PA system and invited everyone to get out to the Lido Deck where he hosted another unexpected party until 4am.  Seriously.  This happened.
▪ The bands, and the fans, and the SIXTHMAN hosts, and everyone partied together like one big happy family - oh yeah, there was a family portrait taken too….
▪ Here is the coolest & craziest part of all:  Four entire days of non-stop partying with 2,000 people and EVERYONE was there to have a good time.  I did not see any drama.  I did not see any fights.  I did not see any weird jealous behavior or any fans competing for attention from anyone.  EVERYONE ON THIS BOAT WAS NICE.  EVERYONE ON THIS BOAT WAS FUN.  EVERYONE WAS THERE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME.  PERIOD.
▪ I can honestly say that I did not even see anyone fall down - not that it didn't happen - but I did not see it, and I did not even hear any stories of it.
▪ Kid Rock also hosted a Q&A for all 2,000 passengers - it was originally intended for 800 randomly selected fans, but KR did not want anyone to be left out.  And, I have to say that all of the questions were very fun and interesting & KR was open and honest and very down to earth.
▪ Here is a quote from SIXTHMAN that I could not phrase any better:  "Beyond all these highlights, Kid Rock has been everywhere at any given time of day, giving high fives, speaking to his fans, taking photos, and signing anything thrown his way. There is a difference between being the name of the cruise that gets people booked and excited about the trip… and actually BEING the cruise."  Read the entire article here.

THANK YOU KID ROCK FOR THE MOST AMAZING VACATION EVER!

Thank you SIXTHMAN for organizing and promoting such a great event - everything was top notch!
